Jake Baker (born January 12, 1993) is the sixth child and the third son of the Baker family.
In the first film, Jake is ten years old and portrayed as a quiet boy who sticks up for his family. He and his younger brother Mike get into a fight with the bullies at their new school when they find out they've been bullying Mark. Jake also spent most of his time on his skateboard, wearing black and a beanie hat. His younger sister Jessica seems to be the person he fights with the most, but they are still really close. In the school scene, he is seen holding Kim and Mike's hands. He seems to like to play hockey with his younger brother Mike. Like everyone else Jake did not want to move to Evanston. And was part of the prank on Nora's boyfriend, Hank
In the second film, Jake is twelve years old and is more vocal and still protective of his family, especially when his sister Sarah starts hanging out with Elliot Murtaugh. Jake describes his father's gatecrashing of Sarah's first hang out with a boy "Not Cool Dad." He is seen in the hospital scene, playing cards with the Murtaughs as he waits for Nora to have her baby. He seems to hang out with Sarah Mike and Eliot Murtaugh. He is still seen on his skateboard but not as much as in the first film. He and his sister Jessica don't fight like they did in the first movie. For the summer games, Jake does the three-legged race with Mike and participates in the volleyball game and was supposed to do water skiing.
Jake is a sporty boy and is usually seen holding an "E" on we love the coach banner.
Jake Baker is portrayed in both films by Jacob Smith.
